My first set of aggressive tires were Goodyear Wrangler Territory and I got them on sale at Canadian Tire. I drove out of there with four new Goodyear Wrangler Territorys on the short side of $650 (they were on special) and am very, very happy with my decision.

Super Swamper TSL/SX

TruckTires

The Super Swamper TSL/SX is an extreme condition off road tire that has been through nine years of developing and testing to produce this ultimate tire tread design by the Interco Tire Corporation. Most off roaders use it for very muddy conditions saying that it performs best in the mud with less performance on rocky surfaces. Of course there will be opinions on this especially those that state it performs great on the rocks when the tire pressure is brought down into the single digits.

One reviewer at Jeepreviews.com states that he will never use another tire. That in fact ″The Super Swamper TSL/SX can find the traction you need in rocks, they flex well and are super strong without being rigid.″ So I’m thinking when you’re a fan of these tires, you like them on pretty much any terrain rocks included.

Offroad-review.com says ″These TSL’s seemed to grab everything in site and just continue pulling. Next to zero slipping on the rocks″

The Super Swamper TSL/SX has very strong sidewalls that stand up to hard scuffing from rocks, roots and other hard surfaces that may be found in ruts. The Super Swamper TSL/SX is built with up to a 10 ply rating and up to a 6 ply rating in the sidewall.

Extra rut pulling power comes from wrap around lugs (the TSL stands for three stage lug) that protect the side wall and enhance traction when pulling out of a rut. Of course being great in the extreme mud conditions off road make the Super Swamper TSL/SX very poor at on road handling according to some, but that’s not why you buy them in the first place.

″the big size and lack of sipes in the tread blocks make for a bit of difficulty in uphill mud climbs″

″They dig dig dig like crazy. An awesome tire. They wouldn’t be my first (or even second) choice out west on the rocks, but they are incredible in mud and general trail use.″ – Landroversonly.com

″we had to duck for cover at times, as the self-cleaning tires shot goobers of sludge at us from a distance″ – 4wheeloffroad.com

″The TSL’s are a good all around tire. If you plan on driving it on the road much, make sure you get the radials though.″ – Rivers Edge OffRoader

Truck Tires For Sale! How To Find The Best Deals On Truck Tires

Truck tires aren’t cheap. Truck tires are a major purchase, but it’s something you can’t do without. When it’s time to buy new ones, you’ve got to shell out the cash. Luckily, you can find truck tires for sale at a low price. You don’t have to pay full price for your tires ever.

Your best friend when looking for low price truck tires is the Internet. These days, you can buy just about anything you need online, and tires are no exception. Just point and click, and you can get the tires you need at a discount price.

Getting Tires Cheap And Quick With Internet Auction Sites

When you’re looking for something you can get quickly and at a cut-rate price, look no further than Internet auction sites. These sites have always been great places to find amazing deals on truck tires. They have truck tires for sale for every make and model, and lots of variety to choose from.

Here are some of the best Internet auction sites:

- eBay. EBay is still the biggest and best place to buy just about anything in the world. They have lots of variety to choose from, and not only carry tires, but also parts and truck accessories.

- uBid. This site is similar to eBay, but it’s better if you plan to do lots of buying online. They offer lots of ways to customize your profile and keep track of your purchases. They make it easy to track a bunch of purchases you’ve made at once.

- Bidz.com. Bidz works along the same lines but also guarantees the safety of their purchases. There are some crooked sellers out there, and Bidz guarantees itself that you won’t get ripped off by offering all your money back if you’re not happy with your purchase.

Buy Direct From Your Favorite Tire Maker

Another great way to save shopping on truck tires for sale online is to buy directly from the manufacturers. Goodyear, Michelin, Firestone and BF Goodrich all have their own sites where you can buy their goods. You’re guaranteed to get the best prices by buying direct, and they also run deals sometimes. You also know that you’re getting the best quality possible.

Save Money With Used Truck Tires

Tires last a long time, and you can save lots of cash on buying used truck tires for sale. You can buy them online, but it’s usually better to buy in person. The reason is that’s it’s better to have a look and feel of the tires. If you buy online, be sure to ask lots of questions to the buyer and make sure they’re in good shape.

First, make sure there haven’t been any repairs. Sometimes, you don’t have much choice, but it’s always better to buy tires that haven’t had any work done on them. If there have been repairs, negotiate a low price. Repairs sometimes affect the moisture and air level of tires adversely.

Next, look for uneven wear on the treads. The less the better. There will be some wear and tear of course, even with new tires, but make sure it isn’t extensive. Also, look for cracks, patches and ruptures. Make sure you have a look at every part of the tires, including the sidewall and rims.

Whether you buy truck tires for sale on the Internet, or used tires at your local tire dealer, you can save big bucks and get what you need. You never have to pay full price on your truck tires. This is a big expense, so any little bit you can save will help out.
